FAQs
Air conditioning questions, answered
Can't see your question? Call 07743 251555 or send us a message.
Can air conditioning heat my home as well as cool it?
Yes. Modern split air conditioners work in reverse too, so the same unit cools in summer and heats efficiently in winter. The Ariston Prios Net range, for example, keeps heating with outdoor temperatures down to −20°C.
What size air conditioning unit do I need?
It depends on the room size, insulation, windows and how the room is used. Typical wall units range from 2.6 kW (9,000 BTU) for a bedroom up to 7 kW (24,000 BTU) for a large open-plan space. We carry out a free site survey and recommend the right size for each room.
Should I choose single split or multi-split air conditioning?
A single split pairs one indoor unit with one outdoor unit and suits one or two rooms. A multi-split connects up to five indoor units to a single outdoor unit, so you can heat and cool several rooms with only one unit outside. We'll advise on the most efficient layout for your property.
Is air conditioning noisy?
Modern inverter systems are very quiet. On silent mode the Ariston Prios Net indoor unit runs at as little as 20 to 21 dB(A), which makes it well suited to bedrooms.
Do air conditioning systems need servicing?
Regular servicing keeps your system efficient, clean and reliable, and helps protect your manufacturer warranty. We offer service and maintenance for domestic and commercial systems.
Which areas do you cover?
We install and service air conditioning across Cheshire, Manchester, Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Leeds, Doncaster, Mansfield, Nottingham, Derby and Lincoln, and the surrounding areas. Get in touch if your town isn't listed.
